STYLING

LETS MAKE YOUR SESSION PERFECT!

If selecting wardrobe pieces is overwhelming, I'm always here for styling advice! I also have a small client closet available with women and some children clothing.

Here are some of my favorite tips when selecting your outfits....

Avoid large prints and logos, these take attention away from you and your family when looking at the photo.

Natural fibers and earthy colors look great in most settings.

Wearing layers is great! Combining layers and textures add dimension and is visually interesting. Examples would be jackets, cardigans, scarves and hats.

Colors.

Complimentary colors sit across from each other on the color wheel. Examples would be blue and orange, red and green, yellow and purple.

Rather than "matching" complimenting is so much more appealing!

The most important advice I can give though is to just be comfy and to be YOU!

CLIENT CLOSET

After years in this business, l've come to realize just how much clothing largely plays a role in your images. For some people finding something to wear for your photo session can be overwhelming. My daily wear is usually sweats and a t-shirt but portrait sessions are a great time to get

"dressed up". I truly think that if you are investing in quality images your wardrobe should match, not to mention your wardrobe choices can make your photos magical. This is why I have decided to start a client closet! The items I choose for my closet are styles, textures, color and overall vibe I know will work well with my photography style. There is no extra cost for using any of my wardrobe pieces. I have a variety of sizes and my closet is always growing.
